"I survived 2023," but honestly barely. May 2023 was one of the worst months of my life. Started on a high note with the idea of an amazing night seeing the Eras Tour in Nashville. But Nashville Night 3 was wild. I got separated from my group while buying merch, and crazy thunderstorms caused us to shelter in place in the stadium. I was stuck on the indoor level with thousands of Swifties. It was so hot, they eventually ran out of food and water, I sat on the floor in a bathroom entrance for four hours. People were throwing up and passing out because it was so hot. I was finally reunited with my group and the concert was incredible even in the pouring rain and lightning. We ended up getting stranded off of Broadway until after 3am. All of our Ubers kept cancelling on us and we saw a man hurting a dog and I cried. A few days later once I was home I got sick and each day progressively got worse and worse. My doctor thinks I had RSV, 0/10 would not recommend. I felt like death for over three weeks; multiple doctor appointments, a trip to the ER, and like seven medications. (One of which I was allergic to becauae my doctor was an idiot). Wally had to stay with a dogsitter for a week because I couldn't take care of him. I could barely breathe, had an awful cough, and lost hearing in one of my ears. Just when I was finally starting to feel better Wegovy did me dirty. Pls don't ask me to go to a concert for at least five years, I'm still processing the trauma from this one.
